Dedicated to the Girls in the Pattaya Home for Street Children. Pattaya is a beach resort city located on the southeast coast of Thailand known for a thriving sex industry and high crime rate. Many children live on the streets, making them targets for traffickers and pedophiles.
Khun Ja runs a homeless shelter for these street children, many of whom have been infected with HIV/AIDS. Ja rescues girls and boys and provides them with food, shelter, clothing, medical care, and education. He ensures protection from exploitation and teaches them skills so that they may live a sustainable and healthy life.
There have been several attempts on Ja’s life by traffickers, but he is determined to fight the exploitation of children. His dream is to build a shelter in the country away from the influences and dangers of Pattaya. He believes, this will help keep the girls in particular, safe from the sex industry. He hopes to raise $200,000 to buy land and pay for construction. The profits from this pendant help pay for Ja’s shelter.
